THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
Sixty-five helping hands worked together while iHeart Radio provided the fun and entertainment. By the end of the evening, we made quite a dent in reaching our goal. Several AstraZeneca employees got the remaining packets read a week later. And now we are ready to send the seeds home and encourage students to share the knowledge they learned in school and support growing at home.
This project is funded, in part, by The Laffey-McHugh Foundation.
ABOUT HFHkids
We are “The First State school garden experts!” Our program is designed to fit into the academic year and promote student health throughout their school years.
Our mission: to inspire healthier lives by providing youth with joyful school gardening experiences and opportunities to eat the garden-fresh vegetables they’ve grown.
Our vision: a vegetable garden in every school, leading to generations of healthy families throughout Delaware.
