Students and HFHK take part in Odessa FFA Ag Day & Penn Farm Day

HFHK’s programming team had a great time participating in Odessa High School FFA’s Inaugural Ag Day. Over 500 students from Old State Elementary rotated through the stations. We brought a musical veggies and seed dispersal activities. This allowed us to work with smaller groups. The students were engaged and excited and loved the activities.

Once again we participated in Penn Farm Day held at Historic Penn Farm in New Castle. The spring event is for all of the 6th grade students in the Colonial School District. HFHK once again conducted a fun seed dispersal activity and musical veggies. The students enjoyed both, and as part of the seed dispersal activity they planted wildflowers in the meadow for the bees.
