HFHK presents at annual DAND conference

Former Program Coordinator Rachel Terracina presented at the Delaware Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ (DAND) Annual Conference on April 26. Terracina gave a brief overview of our Education Cultivation program and its effects on building community and reducing neophobia (or the reluctance to try new foods) in students. “It was such an honor to be invited to speak in front of some of Delaware’s most accomplished and passionate dietitians” said Terracina, “DAND has been a long time supporter of Healthy Foods for Healthy Kids so it was wonderful to share our program with even more of their members!”
