Volunteers at AstraZeneca’s Take Your Child to Work Day complete 5,000 seed packets

HFHK was thrilled to participate in AstraZeneca’s Take your Child to Work Day on April 25. Jen and Lydia spent the day working with employees and their families filling seed packets for our 25,000 seed packet project. There were several stations set up including filling small envelopes with seeds, adding stickers to envelopes, stapling informational postcards to each seed packets and dividing packets to prepare for delivery to our partner schools. During this event we met Annapoorani Chockalingam and Deepa Ponniah, AstraZeneca employees who have a group of friends who do volunteer work. These amazing volunteers offered to help finish our seed packet project and filled an additional 5,000 packets. We are so grateful for their help!
